Well my name is lauren. I like to go bowling, go to the movies and hang out with friends. During the summer I love to go camping. I can be really shy at first but once you get to know me I am down to earth. I can be a huge smart ass at times and like to joke around but i also know when to be serious. Most of my friends say I'm reasonably intelligent, thoughtful, kind, and affectionate, and can be passionate about things I'm interested in. Speaking of which, I'd have to list women, computers, engineering, math, science, puzzles, Shakespeare, good books, and music (mostly more-or-less classical). I go horseback riding several times a week for both fun and exercise and also occasionally go four-wheeling.

I'm not much of a partier and gave up the bar thing as a bad job years ago. I'd much rather do dinner and a show (movie, play, etc.). Staying home, cuddling up and reading or watching a movie can be very nice as can outdoor activities together.

FWIW I'm retired but financially secure.

I should say that, while I'm not specifically looking to get married again, I'm also not ruling it out. Ideally our relationship would be built around a long-term, intimate, loving friendship. At this point in my life (divorced with one daughter part-time) I am not interested in more children though if you have children too that would be Good Thing.
